Byredo
Mojave Ghost
Byredo’s creative director and founder, Ben Gorham, revist’s the journey of Mojave Ghost to mark the 10th anniversary of its launch. Originating in 2014, Mojave Ghost has been portrayed into three chapters of the family and gained inspiration from the untamed beauty of the landscape in the Mojave Desert. The fragrance captures the temperament of the desert into a celebration of the adaptive resilience that finds everlasting beauty. For the 10th anniversary, Gorham commemorates Mojave Ghost by creating a limited edition version. In this variation, the perfume concentrated on capturing the same olfactory notes with a wax base to perform a long lasting finish. “Mojave Ghost had no set parameters from the start. It wasn’t about rigid definitions. It emerged from a flower, a place and a narrative — an exploration of emotion rather than fixed raw materials,” said Gorham.
