The Blond Opens at 11 Howard

No contributor

Aby Rosen’s The Blond at 11 Howard Street in New York City made its grand debut on Thursday, March 10. The intimate lounge is designed by Anda Andrei with SPACE Copenhagen, featuring plush velvet furniture and statement artwork by Dan Attoe. Inside the space, is a unique family of bonze-faced statue heads by sculptor Charming Baker.

The launch of the lounge precedes the official opening of the 11 Howard hotel, which will start welcoming guests next month.  The festivities kicked off with a series of private parties for Rosen’s family and friends, which was followed by a concluding party for neighborhood guests and friends of creative director’s Angelo Bianchi and Julio Montero.

To keep the party going, music was played by DJs Erik Tonnesen and Madison LST throughout the night. Among the notable co-hosts Martha Hunt, Jasmine Tookes, Jordan Barrett, and Chase Carter, the impressive guest lineup featured iconic art patrons, artists, and fashion designers.
