Frieze London
With progress in mind, Frieze welcomes a new themed collection: “Social Work.” Selected by a panel of 11 female art historians and critics, “Social Work” will feature a group of rule-breaking, convention-defying artist-activists.
Frieze Masters
Bringing together 130 galleries specializing in six millennia of global art history, Frieze Masters presents an unparalleled selection of expertly vetted art and antiquities. The available museum-quality works will range from ancient Chinese masterworks to works by Old Masters.
1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair
For its sixth London edition, the fair will showcase innovative collaborations with The Gallery of Everything, Copperfield Gallery, Nando’s, Galerie Nathalie Obadia, ad more, as well as the first major U.K. solo exhibition of the artist Athi-Patra Ruga’s work.
Tania Bruguera’s Hyundai Commission at Tate Modern
This fall, the annual Hyundai Commission will take over Turbine Hall at the Tate Modern, this time created by artist Tania Bruguera. On view through February 24, 2019, the public work can only be “seen” through collective engagement, so the artist will invite viewers to be active participants.
Elmgreen & Dragset at Whitechapel
Whitechapel Gallery is presenting Elmgreen & Dragset’s “This Is How We Bite Our Tongue.” The show is about what is unsaid. The artist duo, known for their subversive, immersive installations, investigate the current loss of faith in a society based on togetherness.
Nobu Hotel Shoreditch

London EDITION
The London EDITION is a dynamic and elegant 173-room hotel equipped with a restaurant, three bars, meeting rooms, and a bustling lobby. The in-house Berners Tavern restaurant, fumed-oak paneled bar Pump Room, and 2,077-square-foot penthouse are also local favorites.
Zeng Fanzhi at Hauser & Wirth
Extending across three of the gallery’s locations, in Zürich, Hong Kong, and London, “Zeng Fanzhi” is a uniquely comprehensive study of the artist’s work by Hauser & Wirth. In an unprecedented format for the gallery, the exhibition shows the scope of Zeng’s work and his rigorous study of painting’s possibilities.
Duddell’s
Known for its elevated Cantonese cuisine, the Michelin-starred restaurant Duddell’s greets guests with fresh flavors, bold dishes, and a relaxed, convivial setting. Designed by Michaelis Boyd, the restaurant maximizes daylight and the distinguished building’s heritage elements.
Sketch
Enticing, artistic, and elegant, sketch has been a destination for food, art, and music since 2002. With The Gallery, The Lecture Room & Library, The Glade, and The Parlour, the establishment offers a look at cocktails, artwork, and culinary unlike any other.
Chiltern Firehouse
The Chiltern Firehouse hotel, located inside a gothic building from 1889, opened in 2014 with 26 rooms and an open-kitchen restaurant. With ingredient-focused fare, the restaurant also boasts striking interiors and delectable dishes.
Dover Street Market
Dover Street Market, designed by Rei Kawakubo, displays special light installations, artwork, and interiors by a handful of talented creatives and brands like Simone Rocha, Catherine Wagner, Thom Browne, Molly Goddard, Thierry Dreyfus, Michael Costiff and the egg Space by Jonathan Tuckey.
