Last night at its flagship on Madison Avenue in New York, Hermès celebrated the launch of its newest fragrance, Twilly d’Hermés. Upon arrival, guests were greeted with champagne and a polaroid opp in front of the colorful perfume display. Inspired by its younger audience’s re-interpretation of how to wear a “twilly” (Hermés’ small, slender scarf)—like wrapping it around a handbag strap, as a hair tie, or around their necks—the luxury house created the latest fragrance with Fragrance Director Christine Nagel.
Alongside Nagel last night was was U.S. President and CEO of Hermès, Paris Bob Chavez, and special guests like Amada Ross, Lola Rykiel, Pamela Love, Nausheen Shah, Pari Ehsan, and Mary Leest.
In addition to trying on peek-a-boo masks made of the signature twilly fabric strips, sipping champagne, listening to tunes from DJ Pamela Katz, guests also stopped for women walking around tying the twilly fabrics onto their wrists for bracelets—another new take celebrated in true spirit for Twilly d’Hermés.
