Fashion house Moncler and JW Anderson’s Jonathan Anderson are celebrating the launch of their “1 Moncler JW Anderson” collection with a special exhibition in a box. In lieu of an in-person launch, Anderson’s latest installation for Moncler’s Genius series can instead be experienced from the comfort of one’s home with a specially curated package.
Featuring collection imagery by photographer Tyler Mitchell, the limited-edition portable exhibition arrives in a colorfully monogrammed archive box, filled with a message from Anderson and a selection of photographs. Printed in different sizes and accompanied by instruction cards, recipients of the exhibition box are urged to hang the works at home, creating their own bespoke collection experience to enjoy safely.

“I am happy to share with you the culmination of my Moncler Genius collection: a piece you can interact with at home while we’re still struggling to find ways to spend time together. Hope you enjoy this Exhibition in a Box with the incredible images from Tyler Mitchell,” reads Anderson’s note to viewers.
Mitchell has captured Anderson’s playful, structural designs in a style employing warm, natural light and a touch of surrealism. Taken in the English countryside, the colorful photographs feature designs that acknowledge country life with a nod to urban influences—like sleeveless duvet coats in duck print, dress-like outerwear with sculptural down-filled spikes, and military-influenced knitwear with patch pockets. The collection also includes updates on archival JW Anderson staples in hues like red, blue, pink, and yellow, including ruffled shorts, a fresh take on the Riviera hat, and other garments breaking the mold of gender binaries in fashion.
