Van Cleef & Arpels’ “Quatre Contes de Grimm” is an enchanting recreation of the tales of the Brothers Grimm. The new high jewelry collection offers an invitation to rediscover the wonders of childhood. Through precious stones and exquisite craftsmanship, the house reinterprets the stories of The Twelve Dancing Princesses, The Three Feathers, Town Musicians of Bremen, and The Golden Bird.
As if each piece were straight out of a storybook, the house chose gems like Burmese sapphires to illustrate starry nights, yellow diamonds to recreate golden apples, and onyx-and-diamond combinations to evoke tales of heroic adventures.

The collection, which includes over 20 pieces, features designs like the Souliers précieux clip (telling the story of The Twelve Princesses through a spread of garnets, emeralds, lapis lazuli, pearls, and diamonds) and a series of three dainty princess clips, fashioned after Van Cleef & Arpels’ longtime tradition of fairies and ballerinas.
