As the clock ticks toward its 30th anniversary, Swatch named José Carlos Casado as partner in the latest collaboration of SWATCH_Faces during the Venice Biennale. One of the company’s rich traditions, SWATCH_Faces invites artists from a variety of fields to try their hand at creating “art for the wrist.”
Casado, a Spanish multimedia artist who recently participated in a residency at the Swatch Art Peace Hotel in Shanghai, celebrates the watch brand’s anniversary with “OFF,” a colorful wristwatch with a black slice taken out of the dial to remind us to take some “time off” here and there.
