Visionaire 64 ART John Baldessari Comes to Life

On December 4th, Visionaire celebrated the release of their platinum edition Visionaire 64 ART John Baldessari at EDITION in Miami Beach. For the 64th issue, Baldessari asked 30 celebrities, like Marina Abramovic and Drake, to send him a selfie. He then embossed the images with his own signature motifs of colorful shapes. Baldessari is known for his experimentation across a range of media and appropriation of mass culture. Guests such as Cecilia Dean, Mickalene Thomas, Charlotte Sarkozy, Jennifer Fisher, Thao Nguyen, and Carter Cleveland interacted with Baldessari’s brightly hued sculptures on-site in the garden, while enjoying cocktails and canapés.
