On Saturday, May 21, Whitewall celebrated the release of it’s spring 2016 Art Issue, with a special focus on Los Angeles. Fittingly, the launch event took place at the Mondrian L.A., hosted by the Los Angeles Nomadic Division (LAND), the Haas Brothers, and cover artist Sterling Ruby.
The night included a special performance by Amir H. Fallah (also featured in the spring issue), presented by Shulamit Nazarian gallery. Excitingly, Fallah’s live portrait session will eventually become a painting to be exhibited at the Mondrian L.A. once finished.
Whitewall‘s spring issue, out now, includes interviews with Amanda Ross-Ho, Rosson Crow, Catherine Opie, Adam Silverman, Kulapat Yantrasast, Shamim Momin, the Haas Brothers, David Kordansky, Doris Raymond, Benjamin Trigano, Shaun Caley Regen, Ann Philbin, Shulamit Nazarian, Tim Blum and Jeff Poe, and more.
