This week, art patrons from all over the globe are traveling to Hong Kong for Art Basel (March 29–31). For the occasion, Whitewaller is sharing a list of top shopping destinations in the city so visitors can indulge in some retail therapy.
Pacific Place
Pacific Place is home to one of Hong Kong’s largest collection of luxury brands and unique dining locations, as well as a number of five-star hotels like The Conrad and The Upper House. Visitors can expect to find a curated shopping experience that includes fashion and beauty brands like Dior, Bally, Fendi, Hermès, Loewe, and La Prairie, as well as exceptional bites at restaurants like Bar Q88, Brasserie on The Eighth, and Nadaman.
Whitewaller recommends: Viewing the “LUMENous GARDEN” installation, open specifically for Art Basel, or the “Artistic Expressions” activation at Lane Crawford Home.
ifc
One of Hong Kong’s premier shopping spots, ifc is part of a 4.47 million square foot complex, adjacent to Four Seasons Place and the Four Seasons Hotel. Featuring brands like Audemars Piguet, Dunhill, Gucci, Celine, and Valextra, ifc offers a world-class shopping experience with more than 200 entertainment outlets, restaurants, boutiques, and more.
Whitewaller recommends: Enjoying the scenery on the rooftop garden.
LANDMARK
LANDMARK houses a selection of top-tier luxury shopping locations including beauty, fashion, jewelry, accessories, home, and more. Shoppers at LANDMARK can browse the establishment’s four locations, moving from one to the next via a series of pedestrian bridges to find brands like Prada, Miu Miu, Dior, Burberry, TOD’S, and Bottega Veneta.
Whitewaller recommends: Checking out the “Nature in Motion” exhibition, in the LANDMARK ATRIUM.
