Your 2021 Holiday Gift Guide: Louis Vuitton Jewels, Chanel Shades, Guerlain Goodies, and More

By Pearl Fontaine

December 10, 2021

If you need help with your holiday shopping this year, Whitewall has got you covered. Below, we’re sharing details on our top picks for the gifting season, including offerings from Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Guerlain, and more.

A truly exquisite gift option, Louis Vuittons Vivienne figurine has been transformed into a pendant and imagined in a special set of 11 jewelry pieces. Enclosed in a leather traveling case, the piece’s outer shell shines in the brown monogram signature to the house, and inside, a jewelry wardrobe unfolds with tiny drawers and pockets in hues of red. Looking to different locations and cultures dear to the house, the minuscule Viviennes—which all have the ability to convert from a pendant to a brooch—include those like the yellow and pink gold Vivienne Petite Malle with diamonds and a miniature handbag, the pave-covered Vivienne Rainbow, and the Korean-inspired Vivienne Hanbok.

The collaboration by beauty brand Oribe and interior design maison À Paris chez Antoinette Poisson is one for the hair aficionado on your list this season. The design atelier has made for the partnership a suite of block printed packaging using the same technique with which it creates its signature wallpapers, featuring intricate designs from 100 percent post-consumer recycled paper. Decked with flowers and patterns dating back to the 18th century, the printed designs can be seen enclosing one of five different sets of hair products, including those like the “Dry Styling” collection, the “Gold Lust” collection, and the “Signature Experience” collection.

We know very few people who would be disappointed to discover a new pair of sunglasses in their stocking, so we’re certain everyone on your list will love Chanel’s Winter 2021 eyewear offerings. The collection focused on deep earthy hues like pine, navy, burgundy, and chocolate, seen across four styles: two takes on a cat-eye, a softened rectangular shape, and a pair of vintage-esque butterfly frames.

For the avid accessory lover, a gorgeous bauble to be worn on the daily is a must. While it’s safe to say all of Ippolita’s options are swoon-worthy, we’re shining a spotlight on the Large White Ceramic Bezel ring this season. The piece has been crafted in 18 karat gold and bears a trio of white ceramic circles, each encasing a round, gold-rimmed diamond, which measures a total of 1.43 carats.

Billy Reid’s Fall/Winter 2021 wrap coat may fit everyone’s giving needs, and may even see a few gift-to-yourself scenarios this season. The classic overcoat silhouette features clean tailoring and a tie fasten at the waist, made up of a textural brown print that looks to the gorgeous quilts synonymous to the African American community in Gee’s Bend, Alabama.

We’ve got a trio that’s guaranteed to come in handy for your favorite cocktail connoisseur or hostess. First is Party Can’s cocktail kit—a delicious drink in a can that requires no mixing, such as an Old Fashioned and a take on a Cosmopolitan. Second, Santa Teresa 1796 is offering a customizable gift through their Personalization Emporium. And finally, in lieu of a gift bag, enclose your bespoke label in an adorable, green and blue floral beaded bottle tote—the product of a collaboration between St-Germain and designer Anna Sui.

Beauty maison Guerlain has several offerings that may help in fulfilling your gift giving needs. For the friend with a multi-step skincare regime, we recommend the radiance-inducing Abeille Royale Double R – Renew & Repair serum, highlighting ingredients like black bee honey and royal jelly. For a slightly more intimate exchange, excite the senses with the eight-bottle “L’Art & La Matière” collection, which encompasses an olfactory experience featuring fragrances like Rose Chérie, Cruel Gardénia, and Spiritueuse Double Vanille.

While a candle is typically a universal object enjoyed by all, Diptyque’s holiday collection goes above and beyond the usual burning wicks unwrapped at your annual office party. Along with an array of seasonal fragrant offerings (like snowflake, pine tree, and pastry-scented candles), the brand has curated a suite of items perfect for the gifting season, including refillable reed scent diffusers, an advent calendar, a buildable candelabra, and a couple of luxuriously soft throw blankets.
