Your Miami Wellness Guide: Where Art Week Meets Mindfulness

From yoga and breathwork to spa rituals and fitness activations, the city offers a curated path to restore body and mind amid its vibrant energy.

Miami pulses with art, culture, and cuisine, yet amid the city’s vibrant energy, moments of calm are essential. During Art Week, this Miami wellness guide offers to expand beyond the usual spa rituals, with fitness activations and curated experiences popping up alongside Miami’s hotel programs. From invigorating group classes to serene spa treatments, there are countless ways to restore balance while still enjoying the city’s creative buzz.

Whether you prefer a mindful yoga session, a high-intensity workout, or simply a quiet pause in a luxury spa, Miami offers tailored opportunities to recharge and reconnect. These restorative interludes provide the perfect complement to the city’s dynamic art and cultural landscape, ensuring that wellness remains an integral part of the Art Week experience.

Alo Yoga

This Art Week, in our Miami Wellness Guide, Alo Yoga returns to Miami Beach with a renewed presence, partnering with SCOPE Art Show for a four-day, beachside wellness program set along the fair’s shoreline pavilion. Each morning from Thursday, December 4, through Sunday, December 7, will begin with 10 a.m. movement classes—an intentional reset before the inevitable marathon of booth-hopping and gallery crawls.

The series features a dynamic lineup: a power-flow session, restorative yoga, breathwork, and deep-relaxation practices led by Zoe Mitchell, Harper Botorowicz, Kira Mae Kazuko, and April May Gardner. The collaboration marks Alo’s continued expansion at Miami Art Week; as they transform the gallery space into a haven for wellness and connection.

Registration is limited, and last year more than 100 hopefuls landed on the waitlist—a testament to the growing demand for moments of grounding amid the art-world frenzy. Within this coastal setting, art, wellness, and community intertwine to create a quietly transformative counterpoint to the week’s electric pace.

What we love: Being together, surrounded by others, strengthens the sense of community; walking through the booths alone can feel isolating, each person deep in their own thoughts.
