Welcome to the Fall 2025 Harmony Issue. While this issue goes to print, we are still in the dog days of summer, but the promise of crisper, cooler air and that delicious “back-to-school” feeling feels just within reach. We’ve absolutely enjoyed and indulged in the delights of summer, while welcoming the next season ahead.
Fall, perhaps more so than the start of the calendar year with its resolutions set against a backdrop of harsh winter light and weather, always brings with it the excitement of the new. It is scented with the promise of the future. The calendar is busy with fashion month, fairs in New York, Seoul, Houston, London, and Paris—to name just a few. Galleries and museums are putting out their blockbuster exhibitions. Having managed to seek out some rest and relaxation where we could in the summer, with moods bolstered by the sun and sand, minds expanded from experiencing the thrill of traveling to a new place, experiencing a foreign land, culture, and people, we arrive in the fall better, brighter, bolder. We feel ready and open.
The Covers of the Fall 2025 Harmony Issue
Our cover stories embrace that special feeling of harmony, balance, and peace. Ami Paris’s Alexandre Mattiussi is captured in his oh-so-Parisian studio a few days after mounting his Spring/Summer 2026 collection show. It was an ode to the city he so lovingly calls home, and a continuation of his ability to tell the creative story of his life and celebrate the life well-lived of his friends and family. His collection continues to be so aptly named. We love his perspective on the fashion industry and his openness to the creative process, and his community.
Damien Quintard greets us in the grand expanse of a newly revived Studio Miraval, amid the rolling hills and vineyards of Provence. Bringing back to life the storied spaces of a historic music studio, Quintard basks in a destined future glory of harmonious collaboration, connection, and melody.
Feature Stories in the Fall 2025 Harmony Issue
We also get to listen in on a conversation between two artists—Gary Simmons and American Artist. It is a rare chance to witness the meeting of two creatives, discussing craft, perception, creation, and so much more.
As it is our fall issue, there is no shortage of a focus on design and fashion. Get to know the spirited makers behind the unforgettable garments like Charles Harbison, Laura Kim, Jackson Wiederhoeft, and Norbert Stumpfl.
There is so much here to get you geared up for the season ahead, too. We hope you enjoy!
