Sustainability as the New Business Model

By Whitewall

December 12, 2019

Last week in Miami, Whitewall continued its partnership with Lexus for the “Lexus Art Series: Art and Innovation Talks with Whitewall.” Now in its fourth edition, the series was held over two days, hosted at Design Miami/.

Rounding out the series of talks on Wednesday afternoon was “Sustainability as the New Business Model.” Founder of LeCar Tamara Warren moderated the conversation between Environmental activist Marina Testino, Founder of Azulik Tulum Roth Sterkel, Cofounder & Co-CEO of NotPla Pierre Paslier, and Curatorial Director of Design Miami/ Aric Chen. The topic of integrating sustainability into a brand’s broader mission was discussed alongside consumer demand for transparency, as well as how designers, artists, and creatives alike are well suited to address our current climate crisis.
