Joined by their shared pursuits of craftsmanship and innovation, The Macallan and Bentley Motors are collaborating to enrich the past while envisioning a sustainable future. By celebrating the mastery of whisky-making and the inspirational expertise of luxury automotive, the two companies will deliver an array of immersive experiences and products that deliver timeless quality and progressive ideas toward sustainability.
Over the next few years, the British car company and the Scottish whisky label are determined to deliver co-developed projects, including curated customer experiences and collaborative events. To start, Bentley begins its Beyond 100 initiative—an ambitious agenda to incorporate sustainability into its product line—by announcing the release of two hybrid models later this year.
“Transforming Bentley into the world’s most sustainable luxury car company is an exciting journey, and I’m delighted to be working with The Macallan with one common goal – to both lead our fields as we work towards a more sustainable future. We will learn from each other in the coming months and years to advance our programs together,” said Adrian Hallmark, Bentley’s Chairman and Chief Executive.
On its journey to carbon neutrality, it is joined by determination for responsible sourcing from The Macallan. The whisky company’s recently renovated estate in Scottland also enables progressive packaging and partnerships with sustainable suppliers, as well as projects that give back to the community.
“The breathtaking natural landscape at The Macallan Estate provides the perfect platform for us to embark together on this exciting and extraordinary journey,” said Igor Boyadjian, Managing Director at The Macallan.
