WHERE TO EAT AND SIP IN MIAMI?
For excellent coffee and eggs and pastries of all kind, ALLDAY in downtown Miami is my favorite spot. Chef Creole on NW 54th St. in Little Haiti has Conch Ceviche and Fried Shrimp with an excellent sauce. La Camaronera Seafood Joint and Fish Market in Little Havana is a family run business that started as a whole sale in 1966.

WHERE TO SEE ART IN MIAMI?
CENTRAL FINE, a space run by artist Diego Singh on Normandy Isle in North Beach, is a great place to see art and discover. I also love to go visit the eclectic collections of the Wolfsonian museum on South Beach that features objects art and design objects from the 19th and 20th century.

WHERE TO HAVE FUN AND RELAX IN MIAMI?
A nice place to browse through artists’ books and printed matter is EXILE Books that recently moved to the Little Haiti neighborhood. Miami’s downtown area has hidden Art Deco gems like the DuPont Building. Walking around there you will also encounter the public sculpture Claes Oldenburg & Coosje van Bruggen Dropped Bowl With Scattered Slices and Peels commissioned in 1990, Isamo Noguchi’s Slide Mantra (1986) and, at the Miami-Dade Public Library System, a large series of commissioned paintings by Ed Ruscha, commissioned for their reading rooms.
