Fitzrovia

Aptly named after the street on which it’s located, The Newman Fitzrovia marks the first hotel from the international management company Kinsfolk & Co, and is set to be a go-to destination for creatives and wellness seekers alike. Inspired by the Swedish Grace movement, featuring a calming and warm aesthetic, it will open this summer and comprise of 81 rooms and suites, a European brasserie, cocktail bar, and entire floor dedicated to wellness.

Designed by London-based Lind + Almond (of Hotel Sanders in Copenhagen and the Bob & Cloche spa in Scotland), the concept will highlight Victorian design with Art Deco influences—which timely collide with Art Deco style’s 100th anniversary in 2025. The on-site restaurant, Brasserie Adeline, will operate as a multi-functional bar, reception, lounge, and restaurant space, while Gambit Bar pays homage to the neighborhood’s golden era of Bohemian writers, creatives, and activists scheming over libations.

What we love: Reading and writing in the Gambit Bar, while sipping a stiff cocktail.
