“Dear Future” by Antone Könst is on view at Marianne Boesky Gallery through September 12. Featuring a new group of paintings, the show dives into the emotional energy of the indefinite, including the feelings of hope, dread, tension, and humor. Here, Könst continues his use of human and animal figuration, with an additional focus on color, texture, and the juxtaposition of media.
Unfolding in two parts, the first installation of Gaetano Pesce’s “My Dear Mountains” spans more than half a century’s work by the multidisciplinary creative.
