Coinciding with Art Basel Week, Design Miami/ Basel returns with a hybrid in-person/online format from September 21—26, featuring for the first time the ability to view and shop the showroom floor virtually, in real-time. Once again at the Basel Messeplatz, the 15th edition of the fair will see more than 40 new and returning exhibitors, spread across general gallery presentations, a selection of Curio exhibitions, and the Design at Large sector, along with other programming like talks, tours, and a special presentation with Superblue.
This year surrounding the theme “Human Nature,” presenting galleries are using design to look at the evolutionary relationship between humans and their constructed natural world. New to the fair, visitors will find names like AGO Projects, Geoffrey Diner Gallery, Morentz, Hemmerle, and Bailly Gallery, who is sharing a dialogue between works by Pablo Picasso and the Giacometti brothers. Returning exhibitors will include those like Galerie Patrick Seguin, Jousse Enterprise, Friedman Benda, Angela Weber, and Galerie SCENE OUVERTE, bringing new debuts by Atelier Van Asseldonk, commissioned especially for the fair.
