Marc Padeu’s debut solo exhibition with Peres Projects, “the world is Ours” features a suite of cinematic canvases portraying imagery of family life. With a talent for capturing the holy nature of simple, ordinary moments, the Cameroonian artist’s classical compositions, pristinely painted details, and vibrant colors will sweep viewers up into an emotional journey through moments like family dinners, saxophone serenades, and lounging in bed with a loved one.
