Coinciding with Frieze Seoul, the Seoul Museum of Art is presenting “What I saw today,” a retrospective of sculptor Chung Seo-young. Chung is known for her use of unconventional materials in sculpture work—such as styrofoam, sponges, and plastic—but here has expanded to digital works in the forms of video, sound, and performance. In celebration of the exhibition, the museum will also be releasing an English publication about Chung’s extensive work in the art world.
