“#PUNK nora chipaumire” is an exhibition of Ari Marcopoulos, presenting a large-scale projection of the artist’s video work of the same name. On view at galerie frank elbaz through May 29, the film offers a sonically-centered exploration of movement created in collaboration with nora chipaumire, documenting the choreographer’s “# PUNK,” which is part of a trilogy celebrating iconic women like Patti Smith, Grace Jones, and Rit Nzele.
