Shawn Mayer: Failed Perfection

Liliana Bloch Gallery presents “Failed Perfection,’’ an exhibition of works by Shawn Mayer.

December 5, 2020 - January 2, 2021

Liliana Bloch Gallery presents “Failed Perfection,’’ an exhibition of works by Shawn Mayer, exploring the deeply planted disappointment of physical and spiritual crumbling institutions. In the exhibition, viewers will find a series of transformed found objects and repurposed symbols and rituals, altogether freezing a feeling of fall in the moment when the realisation of failure occurs. The works in the exhibition are presented as delightful objects that can only be associated with Kitsch.
