STAMPA Galerie is presenting an exhibition of new works from the award-winning Swiss artist Daniela Keiser. Titled “Erster Andruck” (first impression), Keiser’s works on view include a series of cerulean Cyanotypes featuring prints of plant matter, which stretch from floor to ceiling, and a series of hand-colored collage works.
“The first impression is always awakening and exciting, a complex and surprising state, comparable to a dress rehearsal in a theatre. Every proof is an image that is transferred under pressure between two surfaces in direct physical contact, tenderly intimate or violently with force,” said Keiser.
