On view virtually at Paris’s Galerie Marian Goodman, Hiroshi Sugimoto’s “Theory of Colours” features works from the artist’s latest series, “Opticks,” which captures the colors created from light passing through an optical glass prism. Named for Sir Isaac Newton’s publication of the same name, the works follow Sugimoto’s interest in transitional colors and the rainbow’s more subtle hues, which seem to exist without definition.
