James Welling's "Metamorphosis" is up now across two floors of David Zwirner in Hong Kong through May 8, 2021. On view are photographic works made over the past 40 years, featuring examples of the artist's exploration of abstraction and figuration. Welling's experimentation with color, light, and process has resulted in series like "Flowers," "Aluminum Foil," "Chemical" (ongoing), "Glass House," "Choreograph," and "Body."
