To learn more about their favorite spots in Miami, Whitewall spoke to Carolina Wheat and Liz Nielsen, Co-founders, Artists and Curators of the Elijah Wheat Showroom.

FAVORITE SPOT TO FIND INSPIRATION
There are so many locations to find inspiration in Miami, from the bold colors, tall tales, and wide designed murals in Wynwood to the living garden climbing the purposeful outdoor architecture at the Pérez Art Museum Miami. We also are enlivened by sunrise swims/jogs on South Beach.

BEST OFF-THE-BEATEN-PATH PLACE TO SEE ART
We feel compelled to acknowledge two art magnet high schools, New World School of the Arts and DASH. Throughout our careers, we’ve both spent considerable time recruiting and mentoring aspiring artists and designers at both of the programs. It proves how dedicated and supportive the city of Miami is to nurturing an education in the arts from an early age.

BEST-KEPT SECRET IN MIAMI
Flamingo Park, where locals go to play tennis, stretch, run, walk their pups, push their kids on swings, or swim laps. This city park on South Beach is packed with recreational pleasures from sunrise to sunset.
