BEST KEPT SECRET IN LONDON
Two places immediately come to mind. I can’t wait for Chuku’s—the first of its kinda Nigerian tapas restaurant—to open their permanent space in London later this year. Chuku’s is doing our food at the London fair this year (October 3–6) and I’m looking forward to it. Thinking beyond food, Hassan Hajjaj’s shop, Larache, in Shoreditch is the place to go for a bit of Morocco in London.

BEST OFF-THE-BEATEN-PATH PLACE TO SEE ART
Where you wouldn’t expect to see so much art: Nando’s. Very few people know that since their founding in Johannesburg in the late ‘80s, they have been collecting work and supporting young emerging Southern African artists. They have a collection of over 8,000 pieces across their restaurants all over the world, which makes for a great atmosphere while they serve up your food! I have to admit that one of my favorites is right next to Somerset House in Covent Garden.
