The Whitney Museum of American Art is presenting the most comprehensive retrospective of Jasper Johns’s work to date, titled “Mind/Mirror.” Open through February 13, 2022, the presentation has been conceived as one exhibition in two parts, with the second iteration on view simultaneously at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Organized chronologically, the exhibition features some of Johns’s more iconic works, as well as those being presented for the first time ever, including paintings, drawings, sculptures, and prints, which date from today back to 1954.
