Jean-Michel Othoniel: The Narcissus Theorum

For “The Narcissus Theorum,” Jean-Michel Othoniel has taken over the Petit Palais, filling its interiors and garden with his enchanting mirrored glass works. Following Othoniel’s idea that in reflecting one’s self, in turn, the world around is reflected, viewers will find a total of more than 70 works creating a dreamlike unreality. Floating in pools, hanging from trees, and covering staircases like cascading water, the show features works like Rivers, Precious Stonewall, and Lotus.
