Judy Chicago: In Glass

This is Judy Chicago’s second solo show with Nina Johnson Gallery. On view are works from the artist’s glass series, etchings, and drawings. Mortality is her largest work to date in glass, a material with which the artist has worked for many years. Alongside sculptures of hands and heads will be a powder-coated steel rendition of Zig Zag. Ever present is the exploration of a material that balances strength and delicacy, a theme that is central to Chicago’s decades-long practice.
