Titled “Window to The Clouds,” Museum Frieder Burda Salon Berlin’s exhibition of Matthew Lutz-Kinoy features new and recent ceramics, paintings, and site-specific sculptures installed in a playfully dreamlike setting. Following the artist’s practice of creating environments meant to foster a shared experience, highlights include a large-scale painting presented on the ceiling titled Wings of Flamingos, Camargue, meant to be viewed by lying on the floor looking up, and the strings of wool puffs hanging down from the ceiling, An opening of the field.
