In May 2023, Maroma, a Belmond Hotel will open in Riviera Maya. Anticipating the occasion, hospitality group Belmond has conceived a special exhibition in Miami at Apollo 40 NE 40th St., inspired by the whimsical location, inviting four Mexican photographers—Javier Hinojosa, Patricia Lagarde, Ilán Rabchinskey, and Margot Kalach—to convey Riviera Maya’s magic through their images. Each artist has placed their signature on photographs of Riviera Maya’s lush jungle and picturesque sea, offering a rich experience in appreciation of perspective and place.
In “Mariano: Variations on a Theme,” six decades of paintings, drawings, and watercolors are on view, spanning Mariano’s career.
