Open at Galleria Monica de Cardenas through July 29, “Frammenti di un discorso amoroso” (translating to “A Lover’s Discourse: Fragments”) unfolds a multigenerational narrative that compares the gallerist’s love for their art to that of a lover. Considering the idea of a “fragment” through works new and existing, viewers will find themselves faced with the practices of nine artists, including the late Italian artists Gianni Colombo and Maria Lai and contemporary creatives Chung Eun-Mo, Claudia Losi, Benjamin Senior, Linda Fregni Nagler, Federico Tosi, John Stezaker, and Rä di Martino. The presentation encompasses a varied range of mediums including terracotta sculpture, gelatin silver printed photography, embroidery, collage, and various forms of painting.
