On September 14, Fondazione Furla and GAM (Galleria d’Arte Moderna, Milan) kick off the fifth iteration of the “Furla Series” with a solo show by artist Suzanne Jackson, on view through December 17. Curated by Bruna Roccasalva, the dynamic presentation explores fifty years of lively creations by the American painter. Multifaceted inspirations—poetry, theater, and dance—breathe energetic life into sculptural imagery of animals and abstract, organic materials. “Furla Series” is an all-female program which joins forces with iconic Italian art institutions, celebrating women’s momentous presence in modern art and society.
