On September 6 at the Tod’s boutique at Via Monte Napoleone, the fashion house is presenting its “MOSAIC” collection, along with a special installation of sculptures by the artist Willie Cole. Just as the patchwork bags have been crafted from leftover squares of colorful shoe leather (making up a series of totes, handbags, and clutches), the American artist has employed the practice of artcycling, using only existing materials like the leather scraps, remains of semi-finished products, and other repurposed or salvaged materials as the basis of his artworks.
