The Copenhagen-based designer raawii presents four debut collections: blankets, hooks, Minos, and Thing.
The Copenhagen-based designer raawii presents four debut collections: blankets, hooks, Minos, and Thing. The brand developed its first collection of woven blankets in collaboration with four contemporary designers–Olimpia Zagnoli, Dhana Arbib, Souhaïb Ghanmi, and Nicholai Wiig-Hansen–with styles ranging from vivacious to demure. Colorful and simple hooks designed by French designer and painter Nathalie du Pasquier and manufactured by European artisans open a new category for raawii’s portfolio.
Minos features a ceramic clock series developed by Swiss designer Manon Novelli, as a result of collaboration between raawii and students from the Swiss design school ECAL. Thing is a multi-purpose small furniture object–alternately a stool and a table–developed by Milan-based designer George Sowden and available in five colors. These collections advance raawii’s mission of creatively collaborative and independently manufactured modern designs.
