Miriam Cahn: Gezeichnet

Currently on view at ICA Milano is “Gezeichnet,” a solo show by Miriam Cahn, curated by Alberto Salvadori and Luigi Fassi. Energized by performance art, and international feminist movements, Cahn positions the body — shifting between human and non-human — at the heart of her creative world. In drawings and paintings, exposed and vulnerable bodies find life in Cahn’s hands. The artist journeys into delicate and heady themes such as the uncertainty of birth and death, rush of feeling, and turbulent historical events, identifying exposure to vulnerability as intrinsic to the experience of human beings, animals, and nature alike.
