Natuzzi Italia: The Circle of Harmony—Second Life

For the Salone del Mobile 2022, the furniture design brand Natuzzi Italia has released “The Circle of Harmony—Second Life,” a new collection designed by Marcantonio and Marcel Wanders Studio and on view at the Natuzzi Italia Milan showroom, redesigned by Fabio Novembre. The exhibition includes Germogli (2022), an installation by Marcantonio, and TRE(E)PIDATION, a photographic series by Giampaolo Sgura, which emphasizes the need to protect Apulian olive trees from the Xylella epidemic which has been pervading the Mediterranean area. The furniture pieces, upholstered with sustainable eco-fiber, advance Natuzzi Italia’s aim of marrying sustainability with timeless, modern, and durable style.

Speaking on the show, creative director Pasquale Junior Natuzzi has stated: “The goal is to bring life to a more informed design and production process. Creating a timeless beauty capable of crossing time itself. A collection of targeted pieces designed to last a lifetime, with the green idea of reducing pollution, creating materials that get to live an invaluable second life: recycled, reused, rethought; objects where functionality and aesthetics coexist in perfect balance. To live a second life in harmony, at last.”
