Chef George Mendes‘s restaurant Aldea recently closed. But for the New Yorkers that treasured the establishment’s Portuguese cuisine and cocktails, they’re in for a treat. On February 27 via Zoom, Chef Mendes is partnering with Dewar’s for a special virtual cocktail experience entitled “Scotland meets Portugal.” The Michelin-starred chef and Dewars’s master blender, Stephanie Macleod, will teach both whisky aficionados and foodies how to make a delicious Portuguese meal paired with Dewar’s Portuguese Smooth.
