Whitewaller New York is highlighting EN Japanese Brasserie—a lively West Village bar, restaurant, and music bar.
The female-founded EN Japanese Brasserie hotspot, led by Reika Alexander, is a West Village restaurant with a newly-launched Music Bar. A local favorite for nearly two decades, the space greets guests with sumptuous, authentic Japanese cuisine, coupled with live music on vinyl that has been hand-selected by Alexander from around the globe. Lunch, dinner, drinks, and dessert dishes are created with flavors central to the changing seasons, including soups, salads, tempura, ramen, sushi, sashimi, caviar, and more. Inside, the space is equipped with vintage turntables and Westminster Royal High Fidelity speakers for a seamless sound system, complete with a Japanese bottle service called "Botorukipu," meaning "bottle keep," where guests will be able to enjoy an unfinished bottle of alcohol next time they return to the restaurant.
Whitewaller recommends: Looking into the restaurant's vinyl sessions, hosted by a resident DJ every Wednesday through Saturday from 10:00 p.m.—2:00 a.m.
