Rafael Lozano-Hemmer: Common Measures

Pace Gallery is presenting three major installations from Rafael Lozano-Hemmer encompassed in the exhibition “Common Measures.”

September 9, 2022 - October 22, 2022

Pace Gallery is presenting three major installations from Rafael Lozano-Hemmer encompassed in the exhibition “Common Measures.” Open from September 9 until October 22, each of the works on view is concerned with the significance of ephemerality in the human condition, explored through the artist’s poetic digital signature. Visitors at the gallery’s 510 West 25th Street space will find the work Call on Water temporarily rendering poetry in mid-air using water vapor; the magical, interactive Pulse Topology, in which 3,000 suspended lightbulbs match the heartbeat of past participants; and the generative Harmonium, which is being shown for the first time in North America.
