SPRING/BREAK 2021

Katy Donoghue

3 September 2021

SPRING/BREAK Art Show returns to New York’s 625 Madison Avenue for its 10th edition, taking place from September 8—13. Surrounding the theme HEARSAY:HERESY, the featured presentations will look at topics that deal with medieval artisanship and medieval practices like public flogging, theocratic dominion, and the manipulation and misinformation of empires in a time that has proven to share many troubling parallels to the Dark Ages.

The 2021 iteration of the fair will feature presentations conceived by international names and institutions like Jude Tallichet, Chiara No, Karsten Schubert London, Goodyear Arts, Raft of Sanity, Meghan Doherty, Libby Rosa, Grace Storey, Galleri Urbane, Luke Seward, KaPow and GaBoo, Deep Space Gallery, Elisabeth Smolarz, and Francesca Pessarelli.

Within these curated installations, fairgoers will find work by artists like Max Schumann, Suzanne Kiggins, Alexandria Deters, Buzzy, Sam Tufnell, Yvette Molina, Katie Butler, Nicole Basilone, Zachary Ochoa, Stuart Lantry, Terra Goolsby, Rose Dickson, Michael Sylvan Robinson, LoVid, Ethan Minsker, and David B. Smith.
