Pamela Rosenkranz’s first solo exhibition at Sprüth Magers in London, “Healer” follows the artist’s exploration of the authenticity of the human experience. Noting the ever-evolving nature of humanity, Rosenkranz utilizes current technology and culture to look at the impact of evolution, art, technology, and neurology on the constant re-definition of what it means to be human. Visitors at the gallery and passersby will find he title work, Healer (Anamazon), viewable through the front facade of the gallery, where it presents as a robotic snake bathed in eerie green light, writhing in response to the electromagnetic fields created by viewer’s mobile devices.
