For the occasion of Milan Design Week, the Nilufar Depot at 34 Viale Lancetti is presenting Pietro Consagra’s exhibition “Matacubi.” Curated by Nina Yashar and Luca Massimo Barbero, the presentation fills the Depot’s Atrio room with a selection of unpublished works (organized with the help of Ruggero Moncada di Patern and the Pietro Consagra Archives) placing Consagra as one of the greatest Italian contemporary sculptures. Featured are nine of the designer’s abstract Matacubi sculptures (made from 1985 on), which have the potential to function as both art and object
Concurrently, the Depot will be sharing presentations like Andrés Reisinger’s “Odyssey,” a site-specific installation by Federica Perazzoli, the exhibition “Jungle” by Khaled El Mays, and more.
