Psychic Wounds: On Art & Trauma

The Warehouse presents a new collective exhibition titled “Psychic Wounds: On Art & Trauma.” The exhibition brings together 90 works by multiple artists whose memory of historical trauma has informed their aesthetic development and empowered their practice in a singular way. “Psychic Wounds: On Art & Trauma” is inspired by the work of artist, psychoanalyst, and philosopher Bracha L. Ettinger, who has been re-conceptualizing trauma through the lens of psychoanalytic theory and feminist logic. On view will be works by Cindy Sherman, Mona Hatoum, Bruce Nauman, Georg Baselitz, and more.
