“La Réalité dessinée” showcases 40 sketches, studies, and engravings by Alberto Giacometti at Chateau la Coste. Curated by Venice art historian Casimiro di Crescenzo, the exhibition demonstrates the importance of drawing in Giacometti’s practice and is on view through September 12.
While the artist demonstrated his own distinct style and innovative techniques; his drawings also allowed him to explore the great art of the past, the world around him, and to re-examine his own sculpture and paintings.
