Wu Tsang: Moved by the Motion

A sound installation commissioned by the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Wu Tsang's new work is on view through June 2022.

October 15, 2021 - June 5, 2022

Last fall, Wu Tsang debuted an installation of new work commissioned by the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA). Taking the form of a sound installation, Tsang’s work was made in collaboration with the group of interdisciplinary creators Moved by the Motion, in an exploration of the concept of the B-side. Open at the SFMOMA through June 5, 2022, the presentation falls in line with the artist’s exploration of topics like class and meaning, which she explores through a range of mediums including movement, performance, and more.
