Do Ho Suh and the Seoul Museum of Art have put together "Artland," a participatory children's exhibition open through March 12.
July 26, 2022 - March 12, 2023
Through March 12, the Seoul Museum of Art is showing “Artland,” an exhibit seeking to engage the participation of children. Created in collaboration with Do Ho Suh, the London-based artist known for his fabric sculptures, the presentation encourages kids to explore the works accompanied by a guide, activities, explanations, an AR poster, and a workbook written by Suh’s children entitled The Wonders of Artland. Participants explore “Artland,” an imaginary world started by Suh, and add to the landscape with provided colorful clay in any way they imagine. “Artland” celebrates the joy of coming together and creating after the pandemic forced isolation, allowing for the exhibition to establish visitors as creators, rather than just passive viewers.
