On view through June 20 at Kunstmuseum Basel is a major retrospective of the late Swiss artist Sophie Taeuber-Arp. Through a selection of around 400 works arranged in chronological order, viewers will be taken on a journey through the artist’s extensive practice (spanning mediums like puppetry, graphic design, painting, drawing, textiles, performance, and more), which left her regarded as a pioneer of abstraction and a pillar of avant-garde in classic modernism.
